Danach verbrachte sie 3,5 Jahre in Boston als Gastdoktorandin am Massachusetts Institute of Technology und als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems. Im Jahr 2014 schloss sie ihre Doktorarbeit \u00fcber digitale Interventionen f\u00fcr nachhaltiges Verbraucherverhalten an der ETH Z\u00fcrich (Professur f\u00fcr Informationsmanagement) ab. Ihre Doktorarbeit wurde sowohl mit der ETH-Medaille als auch mit dem SIAF-Preis ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>Von 2014 bis 2020 leitete sie das Bits to Energy Lab an der ETH Z\u00fcrich, eine interdisziplin\u00e4re Forschungsinitiative, die digitale Technologien und Verhaltensforschung kombiniert, um einen nachhaltigen Umgang mit Ressourcen im Alltag zu f\u00f6rdern. Parallel dazu arbeitete sie als Postdoc (30%, 2015-2018) und anschlie\u00dfend als Gastwissenschaftlerin am Institut f\u00fcr Angewandte Mikro\u00f6konomik der Universit\u00e4t Bonn und war Lehrbeauftragte am Institut f\u00fcr Technologiemanagement der Universit\u00e4t St. Gallen (2017-2019).<br \/>\nSeit August 2019 ist Verena Tiefenbeck Tenure-Track-Professorin f\u00fcr Digitale Transformation am Fachbereich f\u00fcr Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften der Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg. Dar\u00fcber hinaus leitet sie eine vom <a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.bidt.bayern\/forschung\/nachwuchsforschungsgruppen\/\">Bayerischen Staatsministerium f\u00fcr Wissenschaft und Kunst gef\u00f6rderte Forschungsgruppe (koordiniert vom bidt)<\/a>. Mit dieser F\u00f6rderung baute sie das Bits to Energy Lab N\u00fcrnberg an der FAU auf.<\/p>\n<p>Verena Tiefenbeck forscht zum digitalen Wandel an der Schnittstelle zwischen Unternehmen und Konsumenten. Sie nutzt hochaufl\u00f6sende Daten \u00fcber menschliches Verhalten, die sowohl im unternehmerischen als auch im privaten Kontext zunehmend verf\u00fcgbar sind. Diese Daten aus der realen Welt dienen sowohl der Theoriebildung und empirischen Evaluation als auch der anwendungsorientierten Gestaltung von Informationssystemen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div
