Seine Hauptforschungsinteressen liegen in den Bereichen st\u00e4dtische dezentrale Energiesysteme (vor allem Community Solar PV), nachfrageseitige Flexibilit\u00e4t von Elektrofahrzeugen, Nachhaltigkeit, Entscheidungsfindung von Verbrauchern und die Verwendung von agentenbasierten Modellierungstechniken, um zu untersuchen, wie diese Themen mit Technologie, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft zusammenh\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n<p>Prakhar hat einen B.Sc. in Elektrotechnik vom <a href=\"http:\/\/spce.ac.in\/\">Sardar Patel College of Engineering<\/a> in Mumbai, Indien, und einen M.Sc. in Energiewissenschaft und -technologie von der <a href=\"https:\/\/ethz.ch\/de.html\">Eidgen\u00f6ssischen Technischen Hochschule (ETH)<\/a> in Z\u00fcrich, Schweiz. Bevor er zum Bits to Energy Lab kam, sammelte er w\u00e4hrend seiner Masterarbeit Forschungserfahrung und arbeitete dann als Forschungsassistent in der <a href=\"https:\/\/sustec.ethz.ch\/\">Gruppe f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit und Technologie<\/a> der ETH Z\u00fcrich. Bei dieser Arbeit, die von der <a href=\"https:\/\/systems.arch.ethz.ch\/\">Professur f\u00fcr Architektur und Geb\u00e4udesysteme<\/a> an der ETH mitbetreut wurde, verwendete er die agentenbasierte Modellierung, um die Akzeptanz der Photovoltaik in Z\u00fcrich mit den derzeit geltenden Vorschriften zu modellieren, sowohl auf individueller als auch auf kommunaler Ebene, unter Verwendung von hochaufl\u00f6senden Solarpotenzial- und Stromnachfragedaten aus <a href=\"https:\/\/cityenergyanalyst.com\/\">City Energy Analyst<\/a>-Modellen des Z\u00fcrcher Stadtteils Alt-Wiedikon.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich zu seinem Master-Abschluss ist Prakhar ein Absolvent des Master-Label-Programms von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.climate-kic.org\/\">EIT Climate-KIC<\/a>, das sich auf reale L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr den Klimaschutz und die Anpassung an den Klimawandel durch Unternehmertum konzentrierte. Berufliche und internationale Erfahrungen sammelte Prakhar auch als Praktikant im Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung bei der DC GIS-Gruppe von <a href=\"https:\/\/new.abb.com\/\">ABB Schweiz<\/a> in Z\u00fcrich und als Praktikant in der Abteilung Transmission and Distribution der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatapower.com\/\">Tata Power Company Limited<\/a> in Mumbai.
