Sophie joined the Bits to Energy Lab in June 2022. She holds a B.A. in Ibero-Romance Philology and Economic Sciences from the University of Würzburg (2014-2018) and a M.Sc. in International Business Administration (with distinction) from the University of Vienna (2019-2022). Her master’s thesis focused on the relationship between corporate culture and fathers’ childcare hours. During her studies, she gained practical insights working as an intern for a Daimler AG in Stuttgart and as part-time working student for Xing E-Recruiting GmbH in Vienna.

Sophie is passionate about applying behavioural science insights to information systems research. Her current work focuses on consumers’ cognitive offloading to decision support systems, as well as factors influencing AI acceptance
