In a busy spring 2025, Leonie Manzke presented her work at two conferences in front of international and interdisciplinary audiences.

In April, the University College London (UCL) co-organized the Behavior Change Conference for Health & Sustainability in Lisbon, Portugal. Not just researchers, but also professionals from the public and private sector came together to discuss current insights and future avenues for achieving meaningful behavior change. Leonie attended to present her poster showcasing her current study, which can be freely downloaded on OSF:  https://osf.io/meetings/BCC2025

In May, the travels continued to Limassol, Cyprus, to the 20th Persuasive Technology Conference. In the workshop on Behavior Change Support Systems (BCSS), Leonie presented her paper “Designing a Digital Behavior Change Intervention for Online Grocery Stores: A Randomized Controlled Trial”. It was an opportunity to meet and discuss current insights with internally recognized researchers like Harri Oinas-Kokkunen, who is a leading figure in Persuasive Systems Design. The workshop further yielded valuable feedback and discussions that will inform further developments in the project. The paper is part of the conference proceedings, which are open-access:  https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3965/

With a suitcase full of ideas and insights, Leonie comes back to continue her research with new inspiration!
