Claire joined the Bits to Energy Lab in September 2026. She earned her B.Sc. in Psychology from RWTH Aachen University, followed by an M.Sc. in Psychology with a specialization in Economic, Organizational, and Applied Social Psychology from LMU Munich.
During her studies, she gained practical experience in human resources and leadership development through internships and working student positions, including at University Hospital Aachen, Vodafone, and Commax Consulting. After completing her master’s degree, she conducted a research stay at the University of Guelph in Canada. Before transitioning to academia, she worked as an Associate Consultant at Kienbaum Consultants International, advising companies across various industries on leadership and transformation-related issues.
In her research, Claire focuses on the human side of interactions with AI systems in organizations. She is particularly interested in how employees perceive and respond to AI-based systems and how they adapt their behavior when interacting with them. Her work examines the underlying psychological mechanisms and how organizational conditions, such as leadership, strategy, and governance, shape human–AI interactions.
Her current research investigates the design and effectiveness of digital, data-driven feedback systems in sales. In particular, she explores how these systems influence employees’ attention and behavior, and under what conditions they can contribute to improving individual performance.
